We just arrived home to Florida after attending the MJBizCon (November 19-22, 2021), celebrating their 10th year as a nationally known cannabis conference. This conference is huge and we met the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Sr (we actually have a photo with him); Mike Tyson (we got photos with him too); and Lil Kim (not down for photos). The keynote speaker was Daymond John and he stressed the importance of levering and connecting for success. It was fun meeting Lil’ Kim (aka Queen B) at the MJBizCon in Las Vegas. The rapper, actress, and fashion icon Lil’ Kim is launching her own cannabis brand.
We brought back so many goodies for our clients such as t-shirts, rolling trays, rolling papers, hats, airpod holders, key chains, mugs, pens (of course), pipes and many many more goodies. Thus, when they come in to see the medical marijuana doctor, they can just grab an item from the MJBizCon. We got so many free gifts for our dedicated customers, we shipped back FedEx’s biggest box for goodies at a cost of $280 ground transportation. We got a chance to visit one of the world’s largest and most creative dispensary and that is Planet 13 (2548 W Desert Inn Rd Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89109). By the way, did you hear that Planet 13 is coming to Florida? Right across the street from Planet 13 is Reef Dispensaries (1370 W Cheyenne Ave #1, North Las Vegas, NV 89030). I mean they share the same road and as you are leaving out of Planet 13, you see a hug big sign that screams come on over to Reef for better discounts. We didn’t get a chance to visit Reef, but here are our photos for Planet 13.
We stayed at the MGM for only $151 a night and found that it was cheaper to take a taxi versus Uber of Lyft. Taxi have learned to be competitive with ride shares, which was quite refreshing. We want to suggest some places to visit while in Las Vegas, but I know you want to hear about the MJConBiz and we want to tell you. But we need to first mention visiting the Nectar Bath Treats in Resorts World Las Vegas. The entire Resorts World Las Vegas is amazing and they have excellent restaurants and bars, the best I have seen in one location. A lot of scenery for the entire family.
We also stopped by the world famous Cookies Dispensaries…This is a must do for dispensaries. As for a free Cookies pen too. We got a pen for the employees, which we are sure they will love. Now back to the MJBizCon. On day one we were amazed at how they had two fascinating expo halls with all the glitz, glam, lights, music, food, and information that no one can retain. People and companies within the marijuana industry are the friendliest individuals you will ever meet. No there is no smoking allowed, but the giveaways where everything from flower, drinks, accessories, and more. While everyone has candy, we are talking about high-end bags, edibles, and more. Just check out the Hall of Flowers Experience which was one of our favorite areas of the Expo. Overall, they had cultivators, manufacturers, and retailers; and of course Miracle Leaf was there. At the Miracle Leaf booth, you would have been able to meet the founder and president of Miracle Leaf. We also did a few breakout sessions that covered various topics. We have to say that the breakout sessions were our least favorite and we gave them a try for two days straight and gave up on the 2nd day. The sessions had great titles but the speakers spoke in a very abstract manner and we needed the nuts and bolts of it all.
